We believe in:

RESPECT
We treat individuals with respect, even when there is disagreement.

We listen with the intent to recognize a need and meet it with a solution.

GROWTH
We believe in encouraging the chance for growth and learning by looking at things from different perspectives.

We celebrate differences of opinion and value an open exchange of ideas.

INTEGRITY
We believe that those who participate with integrity in conflict resolution agree to take on two responsibilities, first acknowledging their own role in a conflict and second, actively engaging in the search for a resolution.

OPPORTUNITY
We provide opportunities for people to come together to take action to identify and understand situations that may cause others to feel marginalized or diminished.

My legal career began as a legal services program attorney, followed by a private legal practice focusing on commercial litigation. During that time, I was also certified as a mediator, and after 23 years as a litigator, I left private law to be engaged in alternative dispute resolution full time. I've conducted more than 200 mediations and arbitrations and taught Mediation as a law school adjunct professor for seven years.
